1. Before driving, it should be determined whether the rotation direction of the motor meets the working requirements. It is also necessary to check whether there is any debris in the trough, especially the blockage at the intermediate suspension bearing, so as to avoid blockage failure.
2. The materials entering the conveyor should be cleaned first to prevent large impurities or fiber impurities from entering the conveyor and ensure the normal operation of the conveyor.
3. When starting, ensure no-load starting, strictly implement the operating rules, and achieve no-load starting and no-load parking; ensure continuous and uniform feeding, and stop after the material in the standby is drained.
4. During the operation, if large impurities or fibrous impurities such as rice straw and straw rope are found to enter the trough, it should be stopped immediately. It is not possible to directly reach into the trough by hand or with the help of other tools to pick up materials without downtime.
5. When conveying materials with high viscosity and high moisture, the adhering objects in the machine should be removed frequently, so as to avoid the reduction of the conveying capacity or even the blockage.
6. The top cover of the screw conveyor must be tightly covered to prevent external objects from entering the trough, dust inside the machine, and even safety accidents. At the same time, it is also forbidden to step on the hood to prevent personal safety accidents.
Generally speaking, a screw conveyor is provided with an anti-blocking valve on the discharge end cover. When a blockage occurs, due to the accumulation of materials, the anti-blocking door will be opened, and the power supply will be cut off through the travel switch at the same time. As long as you pay attention to these things during the operation of the screw conveyor, you can ensure that it is put into use efficiently.
